1-800-HANSONS was founded in Detroit, Michigan in 1988 by Brian Elias. The company’s “Get It Done” attitude for replacement of windows, roofing, siding and gutters along with the 1-800-HANSONS exclusive Lifetime Guarantee played a large part in it becoming one of the ten largest home improvement remodelers in the U.S. Not only was the focus on superior customer service a key to the company’s success in residential home improvement, it became a blueprint used by remodeling companies throughout the country.
In 2017, Detroit-based Huron Capital acquired 1-800-HANSONS, leading to the expansion of the “Get It Done” customer promise around the country.
